Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join our team at Gi Group. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for transporting mail items and parcels throughout the UK, working with one of our national clients and one of the UK's leading integrated postal operators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Class 1 vehicle, following a planned route from the client's site in Norwich to customers and other depots across the UK.
  • Transport mail items and parcels, maintaining high integrity standards and demonstrating a friendly customer service.
  • Meet the requirements and skills outlined below:

Requirements and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years driving experience and MUST have driven Class 1 for at least 6 months in the last 2 years.
  • You MUST be in possession of a HGV Class 1 (C+E) license, Driver CPC & DIGI Cards.
  • Motoring convictions starting with the code SP for speeding offences are acceptable, up to a max. of 6 points. NB: no other endorsements / convictions are acceptable.
  • Minimum of 2 years checkable work history.
  • Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, Upbeat, self-motivated and resilient.

Driver Shift Time:

  • Ave. hours per shift - can be up to 15.
