Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Social Workers or those newly qualified in social work to join our adult social care teams. As a Social Care Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable adults in our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs.
- Develop and implement care and support plans that meet the individual needs of service users.
- Work collaboratively with other teams and agencies to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on adult social care policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Relevant social work qualification (e.g., Diploma in Social Work, CQSW, or Degree in Social Work).
- Registered Social Worker with the appropriate professional body.
- Experience of working in social care, managing a varied caseload, and knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in an empowering, person-centered way.
