Job Overview:
Fqps is seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our team in Sheffield. As a Paralegal (Complex Case Review Specialist), you will play a crucial role in reviewing case examiner decisions and analysing complex information. This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive salary of £31,364 per year, rising to £33,605 per year after a 6-month probationary period.

Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing large amounts of information in relation to applications to review case examiners' decisions, highlighting key points and suggesting next steps. You will work with the lawyer (case examiner review) to identify, request, and obtain information and submissions needed to complete a review of a case examiner's decision in accordance with legislation. Additionally, you will manage large quantities of sensitive and potentially distressing information in relation to fitness to practise investigations in accordance with data protection legislation and data management policies and procedures.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. A degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience is required, as well as excellent legal research skills and a willingness to further develop your understanding of the law, particularly in relation to professional regulation and family law. Experience with case management systems and maintaining records is also essential.
