Practice Management Accountant

Love Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join their finance team in a hybrid remote role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and accounting, with experience in managing accounts receivable and preparing financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the month-end close process, performing analysis and booking accruals, deferred income, prepayments, and other entries.
- Assist with reconciling cash allocations, monies received, and bank accounts.
- Support the Head of Finance in producing annual financial statements for audit.
- Support the Head of Finance in producing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Assist with managing accounts receivable, including credit control where required.
- Quarterly preparation and reconciliation of VAT returns, and submissions.
- Reconcile bank statements and other balance sheet accounts.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent (applicants qualified to AAT level with required experience will be considered).
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (UK GAAP) and financial regulations & experience in financial reporting and accounting.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Previous experience using Xero is desirable.
