Role Overview
Audio Visual Technical Support Technician required for a dynamic role at AVI-SPL UK & Ireland. This position involves providing exceptional technical support for programs and events, maintaining a professional environment, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

About the Role
The Audio Visual/IT Support Technician is responsible for delivering outstanding support services for clients and staff during events and off-peak hours. This includes collaborating with event organizers to create production plans, setting up and testing equipment, and operating equipment during events. The successful candidate will also provide daily inspections and regular maintenance of hardware and software for internal platforms, diagnose network problems impacting internal applications, and utilize remote access to control internal platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite support for visitors and executive-level events
- Collaborate with event organizers to create production plans, set up and test equipment, and operate equipment during events
- Communicate effectively with executive-level clients
- Perform daily inspections and regular maintenance of hardware and software for internal platforms
- Diagnose network problems impacting internal applications
- Utilize remote access to control internal platforms
- Install AV equipment in office environments
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on AV systems
- Train users on how to operate AV systems and provide technical support
- Integrate AV systems into network infrastructure

Requirements
- Experience in video conferencing, video production, or post-production
- Familiarity with G-Suite, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx
- Knowledge of computer terminals and commands
- Experience with video displays and content management systems

Desirable Skills
- Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred
- Completion of external training courses such as AMX Intro to Networking for AV Professionals, Crestron Professional Installation, Extron AV Associate Certification, or AVIXA Quick Start to the Audio-Visual Industry
