About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Business Service Centre in Caerphilly. As a valued member of our UK Finance team, you will be working closely with several UK sites to deliver a world-class accounting service.

Within the role, you will be performing general accounting and reporting activities, including creating monthly reports, processing standard and non-standard journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts and factory accounts, analysing and resolving non-reconcilable items, and identifying areas of improvement to the process.

The role will require regular interaction with other members of the BSC, including the Purchase to Pay and Credit & Collection teams. You will also be asked to support other accountants within the team from time to time, to ensure that as a collective, we are achieving the agreed service level agreements that were set with each part of the business.

About You

  • Knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system
  • Experience of management/financial accounting and reporting
  • Experience preparing monthly reports and analysis
  • Meticulous attention to detail, producing high-quality work, whilst working to tight deadlines
  • Able to work independently, communicate well and adapt your approach to various problems
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)

Location: Caerphilly - we operate on a hybrid basis, with 3 days in the office and 2 at home
