SQL Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our team at a major European tech group. This is a great opportunity to work with a sizeable TB estate and contribute to the growth of our SQL Development teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience with developing and supporting SQL Server based solutions, including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and relational database design. They will also have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work with large data sets.

The role involves undertaking various development projects, developing and updating database solutions, and providing support to current business systems. The successful candidate will be able to ensure that development standards and conventions are adhered to throughout all projects.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement database solutions using SQL Server.
  2. Provide support to current business systems and ensure that development standards are met.
  3. Work with large data sets and ensure that data is accurate and up-to-date.
  4. Collaborate with the team to ensure that projects are completed on time and to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • Experience with SQL Server and SSIS.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with large data sets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desirable: experience with Scrum/Agile Methodologies and high availability/high volume systems.
