Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Energy Efficiency Consultant to join our team on a self-employed basis. As an Energy Efficiency Consultant, you will be responsible for undertaking assessments for NICEIC customers registered for EEM, Building Fabric Measures (BFM), and/or Domestic Heating installations on our MCS PAS 2030 and Competent Person schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake procedural and site competency assessments for NICEIC registered businesses for MCS Building Fabric Measures (BFM) and/or Domestic Heating installations to PAS 2030 and Building Regulations Competent Person schemes.
  • Build relationships with applicants for registration, electrical contractors, their employees, and various other professional bodies, and provide qualified assessment services.
  • Work independently in accordance with instructions and guidance outlined in procedural manuals.
  • Demonstrate a high level of technical competence over EEM Building Fabric Measures (BFM) and/or Domestic Heating Installations to PAS 2030.

Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge of EEM Building Fabric Measures (BFM) and/or Domestic Heating Installations to PAS 2030 and related codes of practice.
  • Suitable technical qualifications for EEM Building Fabric Measures (BFM) and/or Domestic Heating Installations to PAS 2030.
  • Report writing, numeracy, and PC skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
