Teaching Position in SEND School

We are recruiting an experienced teacher to work at a reputable SEND school in North Leeds, supporting students with diverse needs and abilities.

This full-time role involves designing and delivering adaptable lessons, teaching strategies for out-of-school life, and managing classroom behaviour.

  • About the Job:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual pupil requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure student progress and development.
  • Adapt to changing circumstances and priorities while maintaining a positive learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold QTS/ECT qualifications.
  • Have experience in teaching students with special educational needs, particularly those with ADD, ADHD, ODD, CAMHS, Complex Needs, Behaviour Difficulties, Autism, or MLD.
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and adaptability.

Salaries and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Additionally, we offer weekly pay with no deductions or umbrella company charges, flexibility, and access to own diary for booking time off or requesting work.

  • We undertake rigorous safeguarding checks and provide free online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all candidates.
  • Applicants must successfully pass enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
