Financial Crime Systems Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Crime Systems Manager to lead our first line defence team in preventing financial crime. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our financial crime systems analytics team, key stakeholders, and suppliers across the wider bank.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies and systems for the management of Financial Crime, with a strong focus on Card Fraud.
  • Maintain and manage an effective card fraud prevention system to protect customers against fraud and losses to the bank.
  • Work with stakeholders across Co-operative Bank business units and within Financial Crime Risk Management to deliver a portfolio of projects and business change to reduce financial crime losses.
  • Continuously review and adjust financial strategies, policies, models, and systems to ensure prevention measures and costs remain proportionate to the risk.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and data-driven skills, with technical card fraud experience.
  • Intuitive and forward-thinking, with the ability to anticipate and prevent card fraud.
  • Good negotiation and diplomacy skills, with the ability to articulate the impact of fraud loss drivers and the benefits of change.
  • Confident and experienced Financial Services Professional, with extensive knowledge of financial crime risk management.
