About the Role

This position requires a highly skilled health, safety & wellbeing (HSW) expert who can provide leadership and guidance. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HSW strategies across the organization and collaborating with senior leaders to optimize performance while minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement HSW policies, procedures, guidance notes, and standards.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HSW regulations.
  3. Analyse audit results and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
  4. Provide training and coaching to staff on HSW best practices.
  5. Work collaboratively to achieve net zero carbon transition and minimize associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.
  6. Manage risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats.
  7. Proven track record of leading and managing HSW initiatives.
  8. Evidence of ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  9. Experience in developing and implementing policies and standards.
  10. Relevant degree or equivalent work experience.
  11. Ability to conduct technical assurance reviews of client contractor deliverables/artefacts.
  12. Flexible working arrangements and occasional travel required.
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
