About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Rebuild/Repair Engineer. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of CAT machinery, working in a large workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of machinery to identify areas for repair or refurbishment
  • Carry out diagnostic tests to determine the cause of issues and recommend solutions
  • Produce detailed lists of parts and materials required for repairs
  • Undertake overhaul, repair, or refurbishment work on machinery to agreed work plans
  • Inspect and test completed machinery to ensure it meets expected performance levels

Requirements

  • Strong electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical fitting knowledge
  • Practical experience in operating construction equipment in confined spaces
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility, organisational, and time management skills
