About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Technical Quality Specialist to join our team at the DSG Donnington site in Telford. As a key member of our engineering technical and operational teams, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to Technical Engineers on quality-related investigations and escalate issues as required.
- Review and respond to Non-Conforming Material (NCM) from suppliers, working with internal stakeholders to identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Lead Lean Six Sigma process quality improvement activities, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategic plans.
- Support the review of Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) submissions from suppliers and assist in data analysis and performance review.
- Collaborate with the Technical Quality Manager to analyze internal and external stakeholder performance and escalate issues as necessary.
Requirements
- Engineering and/or quality experience, preferably in a heavy equipment maintenance, repair, and overhaul environment, low volume automotive engineering, or remanufacturing.
- Understanding and appreciation of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Completed relevant technical or vocational qualification equivalent to NQF Level 3 (Advanced apprenticeship, level 3 NVQ) and Lead Auditor qualified (ISO :) or willing to work towards.
