Lead Cybersecurity Researcher

We are seeking a talented UK Cybersecurity Research Lead to drive our national project in cybersecurity research forward. As the CRANE Programme Manager, you will oversee the UK's Cybersecurity Research and Networking Environment (CRANE) project, funded by the EPSRC.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Research Coordination: Overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of the CRANE project, ensuring that it meets strategic objectives and addresses emerging needs.
  2. Financial Governance: Managing the project budget, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with funder and University guidelines.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinating with an Executive Group to monitor progress, advise on project risks, and integrate strategic developments.
  4. Team Direction: Leading a team of professional services staff, ensuring effective delivery across event management, communications, grant administration, and impact tracking.

This role requires a highly skilled researcher with expertise in cybersecurity and project management, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong background in financial management.

We offer a competitive salary of £53,470 - £62,407 per annum pro-rata, plus benefits, including an excellent contributory pension scheme and 38 days annual leave.
