About the Role

We're seeking a talented Senior UI Designer to join our team at 2K. As a key member of our design team, you'll work closely with UX and game designers, user researchers, developers, game artists, and technical artists to create engaging and inclusive gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement UI elements that enhance player engagement and immersion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop design principles and best practices
  • Contribute to the development of game engines and tools to support UI implementation
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform design decisions
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and game artists
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in UI design for games
  • Proficiency in UI implementation with game engines
  • Strong understanding of visual aesthetics and design principles
  • Knowledge of technical constraints and assets optimization
  • Ability to analyze design specs and provide constructive feedback
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with animation, motion design, and special effects
  • Background in UX research and user testing
  • Passion for mentoring and supporting the growth of others
