About the Role

Access Talent Group is seeking an experienced UK Water Systems Modeller to join our team in Scotland. As a key member of our Utilities network frameworks team, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance, training, and project planning expertise to water companies across the UK and Ireland.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality modelling outputs and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with water companies to evaluate and improve the quality of modelling outputs, project manage small-scale projects, and maintain awareness of health and safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement feasibility studies, model use studies, optioneering, and development assessments for water company clients.
  • Evaluate and enhance the quality of modelling outputs to meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage small-scale projects from conception to delivery.
  • Promote health and safety, environmental, and quality standards in all work activities.
  • Foster collaboration with consultants and water companies to share expertise and resources.
  • Apply knowledge of GIS systems (MapInfo, ArcGIS, QGIS) to support data analysis and visualisation.
  • Utilise discipline-specific data analysis packages (InfoWorks, InfoAsset) to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

For this role, you will require demonstrable experience in consultancy or the water industry, with a strong grasp of hydraulic engineering principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
