Experienced Mechanical Fitter Wanted in Bristol

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at a UK known plastics manufacturer in the Bristol Area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a range of packaging machines, assisting in the workshop with assembly, build, and testing.

About the Role:

• Assist in the workshop with the assembly, build, and testing of packaging machines.
• Build and assemble all mechanical components.
• Read and interpret engineers' drawings.
• Build sub-assemblies, install on new machine frames, and set up customer products.
• Occasional travel to customers' sites.

Requirements:

• Full driving license.
• Previous experience in assembly, build, or mechanical engineering work.
• Plastics, packaging, or robotics background.
• Relevant mechanical engineering skills.
• Apprenticeship or qualification.
