Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Stafflex Industrial. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods in our warehouse, from receiving and inventory management to order fulfillment and shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and Inventory Management: Unload materials, tools, and equipment from vendor deliveries; inspecting them to ensure they meet company quality standards.
- Inventory Organization: Organize and relocate materials, tools, and equipment to appropriate shelves, bins, racks, or pipe bundles by a predetermined sequence, including bin location, size, type, style, and length.
- Order Fulfillment: Compile customer orders from stock and package orders to customer requirements.
- Shipping and Delivery: Retrieve orders for delivery and stock-to-stock transfer; load onto the appropriate delivery vehicle or transfer to the packing area using a Counterbalance / Reach forklift, overhead crane.
- Documentation and Compliance: Prepare documentation for various couriers and shipping locations; comply with required safety policies, guidelines, and training.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean in compliance with governmental health and safety regulations and company safety policies.
Requirements:
- Operational Experience: Must be competent and have experience operating FLT Counterbalance / Reach trucks.
- Valid Licenses: Valid in-date licenses are desirable.
- Physical Demands: Physically fit - able to work on your own initiative.
- Teamwork and Communication: Be able to work at a fast pace and help other team members where needed.
- Basic Skills: Basic maths and reading skills.
- Health and Safety: Ability to learn and follow company health and safety policies and procedures.
