HGV Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled PSV Mechanic to join our team at Regional Recruitment Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our client's bus fleet.

• Conduct thorough safety checks and maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in equipment installations and upgrades as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Carry out maintenance and repairs on all bus vehicles.
• Ensure that all vehicles worked on are handled carefully and that precautions are taken while in the workshop and/or customer premises.
• Diagnose and rectify faults.
• Plan and prioritize the maintenance workload for site engineering personnel.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

• NVQ level 2/3 heavy vehicle maintenance.
• Proven experience in a maintenance role working on heavy vehicle systems.
• Relevant technical qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• To be an efficient, neat, and disciplined commercial vehicle technician.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Dedication to workplace safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
