Assistant Chef

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our team at Busy Bees Nursery as an Assistant Nursery Chef. This is a part-time position, Monday to Friday, with various shift patterns available.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks for the children in our care, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Follow established procedures for managing food stock, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Work closely with the nursery management team to ensure meal times run smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of food preparation, consumption, and waste.
- Participate in staff training and development programs to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting the well-being and happiness of children and colleagues alike.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate
