About the Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Ormskirk, West Lancashire. As a key member of our architectural engineering department, you will be responsible for delivering electrical system designs and installations that meet our clients' needs.

Job Description
  • Design and develop electrical systems for various projects, including major overhauls and new factory builds.
  • Work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Manage the installation and commissioning phases of projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement technical specifications for power systems, including single line diagrams, wiring schedules, loop drawings, and cable schedules.
  • Lead the technical aspects of equipment procurement and tender of installation contracts.

  • Experience designing LV and MV systems, MCC, and Control Panels.
  • Experience with onsite commissioning and factory acceptance testing.
  • Project cost management.
  • An excellent ability to work under pressure to tight timescales.
  • A proactive approach, identifying problems and finding solutions.
  • HMI, SCADA, and PLC experience.
