About Us:
Claire Bridges Resourcing Ltd is a well-established construction company with a proven track record of delivering complex projects. We are currently seeking an experienced Highways Carbon Specialist to join our team on the Lower Thames Crossing project in Kent.
About the Role:
This role involves delivering the Highways Carbon Management System and Carbon and Energy Management Plan on LTC. You will be responsible for providing support and guidance to the project teams on carbon assessment and carbon impacts, as well as managing and supporting the development and submission of low carbon enhancements and incentive business cases and implementation.
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver the Highways Carbon Management System and Carbon and Energy Management Plan on LTC.
- Report project carbon management performance to the Highways Head of Carbon.
- Support the development of carbon management resource & document templates.
- Embed and support carbon management within a range of project functions and processes where applicable, such as procurement, commercial, plant management & logistics.
- Responsibility for project client carbon reporting & deliverables, including baselines, forecasts, progress reporting and carbon accounting where relevant.
- Provide support and guidance to the project teams on carbon assessment and carbon impacts.
- Manage and support the development and submission of low carbon enhancements and incentive business cases and implementation.
- Support with technical delivery groups on low carbon fuel, asphalt, concrete and steel.
- Support effective day to day management of carbon team members in a manner that embodies the company values.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of carbon reporting standards, guidance and regulatory regimes for example PAS 2080 (2023).
- Proficiency in Office applications and use of analytical tools.
- Understanding of the benefits of working collaboratively to obtain the best outcome for the project.
- Determination to see tasks through to completion, with excellent planning and organisation skills.
Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 per annum depending on experience.
