Community Fundraising Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Fundraising Officer to join our team in Scotland South. As a key member of our Community Events team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting community activities to drive and grow our community fundraised income.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading animal welfare charity and make a real difference in the lives of cats and their owners. As a Community Fundraising Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a local fundraising strategy to increase income and awareness in a defined geographical location.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with supporters and volunteers to harness the power of our local footprint.
  • Planning, organizing, and delivering campaigns, activities, and plans, including marketing, to achieve fundraising goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Evidence of raising funds in a community fundraising environment.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and communication skills.
  • A valid UK driving license and access to a car.
  • 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service.
