Operations Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Coordinator to join our team at DivalentineCalver Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding and customs clearance, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the smooth transportation of goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Manage customs clearance processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to achieve business objectives and improve processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant and competitive.
Requirements:
  • GCSE level education or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in freight forwarding and customs clearance.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced operations environment, with occasional evening or weekend work required to support colleagues. A standard of physical health and fitness is required, including good vision and hearing.
