A Legal 500 firm with offices in and around Oxford seeks an experienced Corporate Attorney to join their team. As a full-service law firm, they require a solicitor with a good understanding of the market to take on a varied caseload and undertake business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements, including shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, and corporate governance documents.
  • Provide legal counsel on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management matters.
  • Conduct legal due diligence and prepare related documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in corporate law and regulatory developments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on transactions.
  • Participate in business development activities.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-5 years PQE in corporate law.
  • High level of technical competence.
  • Marketing and business development skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Sound legal knowledge within the field.
