Data Protection Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled data protection expert to play a pivotal role in ensuring our organisation's compliance with data protection laws and regulations. The successful candidate will support In-House Legal and Information Security on a variety of group-related data protection matters.

The responsibilities of this role include developing, implementing, and maintaining strategies that safeguard data assets against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Additionally, the data protection manager will ensure that data handling practices align with legal requirements and internal policies.

To be successful in this role, you will require at least 5 years' experience in data protection or privacy, ideally within a legal, compliance, or IT security environment. A Bachelor's degree in Law, IT, or a related field is required as a minimum qualification. Comprehensive knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant legislation is necessary, as well as a strong understanding of information technology and data management systems.
