Forklift Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Engineer to join our team at Impact Handling. As a Forklift Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults with machinery, servicing, and emergency repairs. Your typical day will consist of working on both customer and Impact Handling owned machines to ensure they are in full working order.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately diagnose faults with machinery and perform repairs
  • Servicing and maintenance of forklifts and other equipment
  • Work independently on customer sites in a safe manner
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal colleagues
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is completed correctly
Requirements:
  • Technical background from within Materials Handling or similar
  • Previous experience and qualifications from a similar role
  • Experience working on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Good attitude with the ability to stay motivated and productive
  • A customer-focused perspective and approach
