About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced service lead to join our team as a Deputy Service Lead - Homeless Health. This is a key leadership role that will play a vital part in the success of our Homeless Health Peer Advocacy programme.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in managing similar services, with a strong background in health and social care. They will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently, and making key decisions to drive its success.

The salary for this role is £42,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including flexible working hours, annual leave entitlement, and opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist the Service Lead in managing and overseeing the development and delivery of the Homeless Health Peer Advocacy programme
  • To provide guidance and support to staff and volunteers, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality services
  • To work closely with stakeholders, including funders, partners, and local authorities, to ensure the programme meets its objectives
  • To develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the programme operates within best practice guidelines
  • To assist in managing budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the programme stays within budget and achieves its outcomes

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as health and social care or business management
  • Significant experience in service management, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
