Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and fostering strong working relationships with regional directors and area managers to ensure top talent is engaged and retained. This includes identifying and tracking key talent, succession planning, and understanding the talent pipeline to grow future leaders.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a regional resourcing strategy in conjunction with operations and the talent acquisition partner to identify where external resource is required and when to avoid vacancies and gaps.
• Collaborate with regional directors and area managers to identify the root cause of high labour turnover and provide advice and guidance to reduce attrition.
• Line manage and develop the regional talent partner for the region, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to carry out their role effectively.
• Use analytics and people information to prioritise areas of focus and identify trends, ensuring the right resources are allocated to address business needs.
• Work closely with operations and the people services team to resolve escalated ER cases quickly and fairly.
• Embed changes into restaurants, working with regional teams to ensure that employees understand and accept new initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience of partnering with a multisite restaurant, retail or similar type business with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful talent management strategies.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, grow and develop direct reports and collaborate with peers and colleagues.
• Ability to work in true partnership, providing appropriate support, guidance, challenge, collaboration and co-creation to drive business outcomes.
• Experience of solving problems, analysing issues and interpreting data to inform business decisions.
• Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to guide others to achieve goals and foster a culture of collaboration.
• Change agent with the ability to promote and support new ways of working, winning the hearts and minds of key stakeholders.
