Culinary Artist

We are seeking an ambitious and skilled Culinary Artist to join Compass UK & Ireland on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

As a Culinary Artist, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that delights our clients and customers, working within the market-leading food service company in the UK.

You will have opportunities to progress within a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and rewards employees who go beyond their roles.

Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare delicious, high-quality food that meets customer expectations.
  • Menu Development: Oversee menu changes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Customer Feedback: Listen to customer feedback and implement changes to consistently improve food services.
  • New Menu Creation: Support the creation of new menus and creative food concepts.
  • Brand Representation: Represent Compass UK & Ireland and maintain a positive brand image.
  • Kitchen Operations: Monitor inventories and oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards.
Requirements:
  • A passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
  • A City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification.
  • Experience supervising a team and experience in a similar Chef role.
  • A flexible approach to working and a Food Hygiene certificate.
