Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Protection Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our environmental department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate statutory nuisance complaints and ensure timely resolution.
  • Use sound level monitoring equipment and interpret results in accordance with industry standards (e.g., BS4142).
  • Inspect and manage environmental permits.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Qualification as an Environmental Health Officer (EHO) or equivalent experience in the field.
  • Experience in air quality management.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge base in environmental protection and excellent communication skills. A full driving license is also required for this role. Although some remote working may be possible, there is an expectation that the successful candidate will work from our offices for most of the time, with occasional site visits.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience). We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including flexible working hours and opportunities for professional development.
