Aircraft Maintenance Manager Job Description

At ZipRecruiter, we are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and technical skills.

Job Summary:

The Aircraft Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft fleet. This includes overseeing daily maintenance activities, coordinating with vendors, and managing a team of maintenance technicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance data to optimize performance and reduce costs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range:$80,000 - $120,000 per year
