About the Role

The Chief Identity Architect will work with cross-functional teams to develop scalable services for workforce, customer, and workload authentication and authorization. The successful candidate will have expertise in developing secure, scalable distributed services and REST APIs, as well as experience with infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, or PowerShell DSC.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop novel web services that help Palantirians stay compliant while minimizing impact on their productivity flows.
  • Develop automation frameworks that scale the implementation of Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations across multiple Entra ID tenants.
  • Build tooling to standardize and scale operational workflows in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Research and drive the implementation of secure authentication protocols by collaborating with Security Engineers.
Requirements
  • Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or similar field.
  • Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and other technical tools.
  • Strong coding skills with demonstrated proficiency in at least one of the following languages - Golang, C++, Python, Rust, or Java.
  • Technical proficiency in identity protocols (SAML, OIDC, LDAP, Kerberos, FIDO2, WebAuthN).

Palantir Technologies offers a competitive salary of $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
