Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Coach to join our team at Excell Supply, providing expertise in education to courier van drivers as part of their onboarding process. The drivers will normally be on their first day with the company and are required to attend training to give an overview of processes they need to follow when making deliveries to private houses or business premises.

The Academic Coach will be responsible for delivering a classroom-based programme using a purpose-built learning management platform, highlighting the different types of deliveries the courier might undertake during working hours. A knowledge check quiz must be completed by the delegates before leaving the training course.

Day two content focuses on awareness of risk when driving and ways to avoid incidents and accidents whilst on the road. Topics covered include speed awareness, observation and concentration, vehicle dimensions, parking, and manoeuvring safely.
