We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our UK Investments team. As a key member of our legal team, you will provide expert legal advice and support to our business, ensuring that our investment activities are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal support to our business, including drafting, negotiating, and amending financial services agreements related to the UK Super Manco, UK authorised funds, and unit-linked funds.
  • Advise on legal and regulatory requirements and developments, including AIFMD and ESG rules.
  • Assess and advise teams on legal risk and recommend appropriate strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Monitor events and developments that could have legal implications for the UK business.
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor with a current Practising Certificate.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of funds; private fund experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of UK UCITS and Alternative Investment Funds and their regulation.
  • Experience in structuring, launching, and amending investment funds in the UK.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with senior stakeholders across the business.
