About the Role:

• Perform hands-on calibrations as needed within the laboratory, ensuring accuracy and precision in all measurements.
• Calibrate and measure precision instruments within both UKAS and non-UKAS calibration scopes efficiently and effectively, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of calibration services and maintain high-quality standards.
• Develop and implement calibration procedures to optimize instrument performance and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough calibrations of precision instruments, including pressure and temperature gauges, to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on calibration equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and maintain calibration records, including documentation of instrument performance and calibration results.
• Participate in quality assurance and control activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of calibration principles and practices, including UKAS and non-UKAS calibration scopes.
• Excellent technical skills, with experience in calibrating precision instruments and equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
