We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Pharmacy Department as a Pharmacy Receptionist. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver medicines and other pharmacy items to wards and departments within the hospital.
- Provide reception and administrative support to the Pharmacy Department, including answering phones and responding to queries.
- Manage the dispensary and ward-based workflow, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Receive and process prescriptions and orders for medicines, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Pharmacy Team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Previous experience of working in a pharmacy environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good health and mobility, as the role requires standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.
- NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or willingness to undertake if not possessed).
