Cleaner - Braunton Academy

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Braunton Academy on a permanent, part-time basis.

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures.

Whilst maintaining hygiene levels is an important part of site safety across all communal areas, this consumer-facing role will require you to deliver a high standard of customer service to clients across the facility.

Our Successful Candidate

If you have previously worked within a commercial cleaning environment, this would be an advantage; however, at Norse, we can offer full training and support for enthusiastic individuals if you can demonstrate:

  • Ability to work to defined standards in a quality-driven environment
  • Good communication skills, capable of building relationships with colleagues, clients, and members of the public
  • Comfortable working independently to your own initiative as well as being part of a team
  • Good attention to detail, able to deliver a high level of customer service

Our Offer

If you have a great eye for detail and enjoy cleaning, this is the perfect opportunity for you. All of our employees benefit from our company pension scheme and annual leave allowance, and this will be combined with a number of local benefits and the opportunity for progression and development within a national organisation.

An enhanced DBS check will be required for our successful candidate, payment will be met by the employer.

We are committed to employment practices and behaviours which encourage diversity, promote equality of treatment, and eliminate unlawful and/or unfair discrimination.

We reserve the right to close this vacancy once we have received sufficient applications. If you have not been contacted within two weeks of the closing date, please assume that your application has not been successful and will not be progressed to the next stage.
