Job Description:

We are looking for an Assembly Line Planning Engineer to join our team at Matchtech. As an Assembly Line Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing detailed production schedules for our rolling stock assembly line. This is a 6-month contract, initially likely to extend, paying £18.20 an hour (Inside IR35 - PAYE only).

 

Key Responsibilities:

* Create and monitor detailed production schedules for an assembly line.
* Track progress of orders, anticipate and detect schedule deviations.
* Coordinate material movements between departments to ensure smooth operation.

 

Requirements:

* Experience in assembly line scheduling and resource planning.
* Competence in Microsoft tools, including SAP and MS Project.
* Excellent communication skills.

 

Estimated Salary: £18.20 per hour. Estimated annual salary based on a 37.5-hour week is £39,712.
