About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic System Tester to join our team at Matchtech. As a key member of our testing facility, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of hydraulic motors and pumps.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of hydraulic systems, experience in testing hydro/mechanical products, and familiarity with rotating electrical machines, motors/generators. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques is also desirable.

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough tests on hydraulic motors and pumps to ensure compliance with specifications.
  2. Operate bespoke test control panels and record test performance parameters.
  3. Perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and experience in testing hydro/mechanical products.
  • Familiarity with rotating electrical machines, motors/generators.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques (5S, TPM, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
