Janitorial Assistant

Job Summary:

Acapella Recruitment is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our workspace.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers, safely and efficiently.
• Deep clean high-traffic areas, including restrooms and break rooms, to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stored and used in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Participate in regular cleaning schedules and special events, such as deep cleans and seasonal cleaning projects.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities manager.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
