About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Care Coordinator to join our friendly and fast-paced homecare team in Gosport. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services to our clients in the Gosport area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact for new and existing service users and care workers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Effectively handle initial enquiries from prospective service users and their families, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process.
  • Roster staff to provide a safe and effective delivery of service to clients, taking into account their individual needs and preferences.
  • Liaise with other professionals involved in service users' care, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Assist with recruiting new care workers to the team, providing support and guidance throughout the recruitment process.
  • Monitor care workers and carry out supervisions and appraisals, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Support the effective handling of safeguarding, incidents, and complaints, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all.
  • Ensure the service is working within the standards expected by the CQC, maintaining a high level of quality and compliance.
Requirements
  • A full UK driving license is essential for this role.
  • A good communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with service users, care workers, and other professionals.
  • Flexible and able to cope with changing demands and priorities, remaining calm under pressure.
  • Well-organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A friendly, confident, and helpful telephone manner, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • A positive, focused attitude, with the ability to work independently and apply initiative to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
