Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our Core Therapies team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and expertise in a variety of specialisms, including critical care, neurosurgery, stroke, orthopaedics, medicine, surgery, and MSK.

Our team is committed to delivering high-quality patient care, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for providing excellent healthcare services. As a Physiotherapist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assess and treat patients, and contribute to the development of our therapy services.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with a range of conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and respiratory disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals and improve functional ability.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of our therapy services, including service planning, quality improvement, and education.
  • Participate in on-call rotas and provide evening and weekend cover as required.
Person Specification

We are looking for a Physiotherapist who:

  • Is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Has a degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Is committed to continuing professional development (CPD).
  • Has experience of working in a multidisciplinary team and is able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Is able to work independently and as part of a team, and is flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
