CheqUp Health Limited is a leading provider of weight management services, specialising in the prescription of GLP-1 / GIP medications such as Wegovy and Mounjaro. Our mission is to assist patients in achieving their weight management goals through a high-quality, medically-led service. We cater to private patients and are also licensed by NICE to offer Tier-3 weight management services to the NHS.

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to manage our online-only dispensing pharmacy. The successful candidate will be experienced in managing a dispensary team, and possess knowledge and experience related to weight management and the prescription of GLP-1 / GIP medications.

• Lead the team in dispensing weight management medications.
• Ensure all dispensing activities comply with current medical guidelines, policies, and regulations.
• Regularly review and update all policies and SOPs related to pharmacy operations.
• Provide medical advice and support to patients concerning their treatment plans and prescriptions.
• Address medical inquiries and offer guidance on the side effects, benefits, and proper use of prescribed medications.
• Contribute to the development of CheqUp's clinical guidelines for weight management medications, together with the prescribing team led by Dr Andrea Pucci.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for all patients.

• Manage the team of dispensers and trainee dispensers in the pharmacy.
• Conduct periodic appraisals and performance reviews.

• Monitor performance across a range of indicators including dispensing timescales and take corrective action where necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of best practice and make appropriate recommendations for implementation.
• Lead the team in conducting audits and quality improvement activities.

• Experience in weight management and the prescribing of GLP-1 / GIP medications, or leading clinics (preferably in endocrinology/diabetes) or working on an endocrinology ward.
• Strong understanding of medical issues related to weight management.
