Installation Specialist

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Installation Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As an Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, testing, and commissioning Fire Suppression systems to the relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
• Fabricate, test, and install pipework and systems; dismantle and reconstruct equipment as needed.
• Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and loss of materials.
• Install and test systems in accordance with relevant service standards.
• Follow and install fabrication drawings and instructions.
• Report and document any changes, deficiencies, or deviations in systems.

Requirements

• Appropriate experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Demonstrate a successful track record of achievement.
• Time served within a technical environment, such as Fire Suppression equipment or Fire Sprinkler Systems.
• Sound industry knowledge and a recognized qualification.
• Full UK driving license.
• Ability to lift, carry, and climb ladders.
• Ability to use power tools to repair and dismantle systems.
• Willingness to travel to sites and occasionally stay overnight.
