Full Stack Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Manager to join our team at TPF Recruitment.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and tax, with a focus on preparing and managing accounts for a variety of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and oversee accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies using Iris software
- Manage self-assessment tax returns, corporation tax computations, and VAT returns using software such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
- Ensure all accounts and returns are accurate and submitted in line with relevant deadlines
Requirements:
- Relevant professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA or ACA
- At least 3 years' experience in accounts and tax work in a professional setting
- Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, with the ability to prepare accounts from prime records
- Tax knowledge sufficient to prepare VAT returns, corporation tax computations, and self-assessment tax returns, including for individuals with rental income
