Industrial Automation Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Electrical / Control Engineer to join our esteemed UK manufacturing company as an Industrial Automation Engineer. Our company supplies a unique portfolio of world-class products in the paper and film sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out effective fault finding and modification of industrial control systems in a process manufacturing environment. This includes writing and developing PLC programs for new and existing systems, routine software backups of PLC systems, drives, and panel views, controlling panel build and replacement controls for obsolescent equipment, and working closely with technicians to understand key issues and implement improvement initiatives. They will also ensure all documentation is up-to-date and stored correctly. Strong technical knowledge of complex electrical systems, PLCs, drives, control systems, networks, data-driven approach, analytical skills, leadership abilities, and experience working in a continuous process manufacturing environment are required for this role.

The position offers a competitive salary of £58,000 - £68,000 per annum, 27 days' annual leave entitlement, flexible start and finish times, and the opportunity for further development and salary increase.
