About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales and Service Advisor to join our team at Nationwide Platforms. As a Sales and Service Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and sales skills to our customers, while also working closely with our internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process customer inquiries and orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Manage the lifecycle of orders, including proactive star calls, delivery and collection communication, breakdowns, site bookings, and suspensions
  • Utilize a consultative approach to close quotes and orders, recommending appropriate products and services to customers based on their needs analysis
  • Generate and follow up on open quotations and orders, ensuring accurate and correct data capture
  • Closing sales by utilizing persuasion techniques when necessary and identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Troubleshoot customer queries and complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives in a timely manner
  • Ensure a positive customer experience, meeting and building on our brand value of putting customer experience first
  • Meet or exceed personal and team key performance metrics and targets
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge to supply customers with the best and most accurate information possible
  • Behave in a respectful and professional manner to reinforce and elevate the business reputation and brand
  • Build strong relationships with other departments, liaise with stakeholders, customers internal and external, and own the conclusion of each and every customer query
  • Maintain internal health and safety and corporate governance standards in accordance with Nationwide Platforms policies

Requirements

  • A proven track record of target achievement in an internal sales and customer service driven role
  • Passionate and willing to go the extra mile to do a good job, with a 'can do' attitude
  • Innovative, willing to think outside the box to meet customer needs
  • Ability to conduct customer needs analysis using different questioning and listening techniques
  • Excellent sales negotiation skills, teamed with the ability to recognize buying signals and closing a sale
  • Ensure a positive and polite customer experience, recognizing our commitment to putting customers first
  • Able to balance a customer-oriented and results-driven approach
  • Focused on quality and accuracy of data captured
  • Excellent telephone manner with the ability to keep calm under pressure
  • Builds rapport with customers and internal stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Ability to establish credibility, act decisively, but able to recognize and support preferences and priorities of the customer
  • Proactive, high energy team player and ability to work closely with colleagues at all levels
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident with technology, with working knowledge of MS Office applications including MS Word and Excel
