Senior Signalling Tester Role

We are looking for a Senior Signalling Tester to join our Control Systems team. As a Senior Signalling Tester, you will be responsible for leading Testing and Commissioning activities for a portfolio of projects and be the lead on-site for those associated commissioning activities.

Key responsibilities include defining and controlling testing activities, balancing the need for off-site and on-site testing, and leading and mentoring colleagues to grow the System testing team.

This is a safety-critical position vital to the validation of the signalling Control System and how it works in accordance with legal and Network Rail Line and Group standards.

Requirements:

  • Numerate & literate
  • Auditing
  • Presentation Skills
  • Communication Skills
  • Good IT skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Qualifications:

  • Signalling Tester in Charge Licence 1.170
  • Valid PTS ac/dc certificate
  • Emergency First Aid - desirable
  • Manual Handling - desirable
  • IOSH Managing Safety - desirable
