Job Title: IT Release Manager

Renishaw plc is seeking a motivated IT Release Manager to contribute to the delivery and maintenance of Azure-based environments and associated application software releases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage change and release plans to ensure smooth delivery of technical changes to our application stack.
  • Assess, authorise, schedule, and implement significant technical changes in a controlled and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate key stakeholders at all levels throughout the release process.
  • Deliver major releases alongside small change, urgent change, service improvements, and maintenance.
  • Apply and contribute to release governance.
  • System environments build and maintenance, including associated security.
Requirements:
  • CI/CD methodologies
  • Good understanding of Azure platform management tools (Azure Management Portal, Azure DevOps pipelines, Power Platform Admin Centre)
  • Knowledge of Cost Management, Resource management, Infrastructure as Code principles
  • Experience of working in a structured IT department in a similar role, responsible for the control and management of multiple enterprise application environments, both on premise and cloud based.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams up to task completion
  • Understanding of ERP products, preferably Microsoft D365 (F&O and CE) solutions and architecture.
Person Specification:
  • At least two years of professional experience in managing complex Azure-based environments and the controlled release of software applications.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time and thrive in the pressures of a dynamic hybrid environment.
